Pamela Alfaro enjoyed international attention in Costa Rica when in at age 20 she was selected as Chica E Latin America. Although she won some prizes and hosted a special version of Wild On in 2005 she enjoyed only a brief long career with the network.
Upon her return to Costa Rica some people suggested that her modeling and television career was backstaged by her mother’s high profile relationship with Johnny Araya, mayor of San José. So, when her sex video emerged in December of 2008 it seemed to put the spotlight back on her stalled career.

Shortly after the video went public Pamela became the most downloaded 60 seconds of video in Costa Rica. However, the story gets even more bizarre. Pamela claimed that the video was stolen and the perpetrator is a person known to her purportedly with the motivation to ruin her career and the reputation of the family.
Pamela’s attorney Henry Vega went on to make a statement to the effect that the corrupt influences of pornography infected her young innocent mind. Unfortunately for Pamela she is a bona fide public figure and her webcam video is circulated among Internet servers located in the United States, which unlike Costa Rica has real freedom of the press. So, her high priced Tico attorney is powerless to remove Pamela’s video from circulation.
In my opinion, your web site will cause more harm than good. Your exploits will shut down struggling businesses. Having lived here for 14 years I’ve seen a lot of irresponsible reporting. Would you published porn of your sister, daughter or mother? How would you feel if you saw porn of your wife years later? Please think about what you are doing. These imagines pass through the net forever and many of these women are doing what they have to do to put themselves through school. Many will someday become professionals and may lose the opportunity for promotions because of graphic photos or videos you published. It is no wonder many Ticos hate Gingos. You may even be putting yourself in harms way. Look at all the news reporters that have been killed recently. What do you think the Mayor is saying about the video you published? Don’t forget where you are. These girls have brothers and fathers. I have no dog in the fight, but think about what you are doing. I strongly recommend you shut it down or clean it up. This is the reason most governments forbid prostitution.
